Xenarc Technlogies Proudly Announces Refreshes and Enhancements to the 802 Series, the 1040TS and 1200TS

Xenarc Technologies has revamped and ruggedized its line of 802 series high bright displays, as well as a full overhaul of the 1040TS and the 1200TS. The 1040TS now comes with a one piece, completely flat IP54 front bezel allowing it to better withstand the rigors of everyday usage. The 1200TS as well, now is spray and splash proof, giving it features that are well suited to the hospitality or Point of Sale industries. Both of these products will be available by late May, and both may be viewed via the links attached to each image above.
The 802TSV also sees a ruggedization with the addition of a Glass-Film-Glass (GFG) armored touch panel, and an HDMI input which will now give it a product code of 802TSH. This gives the 802TSH touch panel a surface hardness of 7H, significantly higher than the standard 3H of an ITO film on regular resistive touch panels. The new version armored touchscreen 802TSH will also be available in late May.

Glass-Film-Glass (GFG) Armored Touchscreen
This new technology employs a 0.2mm thin glass on top of the resistive touch screen. This layer features anti-scratch properties, and is not only resistant to abrasions, but also chemicals which makes these touch displays relevant to a number of rugged applications including:
- Industrial
- Medical
- Food and Hospitality
- Gas stations or Chemical plants
- Marine, Transportation, and Air Transportation operating systems
The GFG panels also come with anti-reflective and anti-fingerprint coatings, further enhancing the high bright panel within the display. All of these enhancements result in a monitor that is corrosion, scratch, and high temperature resistant, and easy to clean.
