Xenarc Technologies Uses CES to Introduce Changes to the 7” VGA Monitors

After attending the International Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas this year, customers of Xenarc Technologies were pleasantly surprised to find numerous changes made to Xenarc’s line of 7” VGA monitors (model #’s 700Y, 700YV, 700TS, and 700TSV). The changes are

After attending the International Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas this year, customers of Xenarc Technologies were pleasantly surprised to find numerous changes made to Xenarc’s line of 7” VGA monitors (model #’s 700Y, 700YV, 700TS, and 700TSV). The changes are as follows:

1. The monitors now support resolutions of 800x600, 1024x768, 1280x1024, and 1600x1200. These resolutions are in addition to the originally supported resolutions of 640x480 and 800x480.

2. Upon detection of a power source, the monitor will automatically power on. This is handy for use in a vehicle, as once the vehicle is powered as follows:

1. The monitors now support resolutions of 800x600, 1024x768, 1280x1024, and 1600x1200. These resolutions are in addition to the originally supported resolutions of 640x480 and 800x480.

2. Upon detection of a power source, the monitor will automatically power on. This is handy for use in a vehicle, as once the vehicle is powered on, the monitor will auto-detect the power source and turn on it

2. Upon detection of a power source, the monitor will automatically power on. This is handy for use in a vehicle, as once the vehicle is powered self.

3. The monitors are also capable now of handling 11v~24v DC.

4. Once the monitors power on, they automatically adjust the image to fit the screen, depending on the resolution that is applied.

All of these changes have led to renewed enthusiasm regarding Xenarc’s 7” VGA line. “These changes address all of the complaints that I have received from my mobile computing customers,” said one longtime customer. “This definitely makes these monitors geared more towards mobile computing and mobile entertainment now.” Said a Vice President of the company, “We’ve been working on these changes for quite some time now. After getting feedback from many different customers, we decided that these changes would add the most value to our products. Being in the forefront of mobile computing, we realized that making these changes would only enhance the market further.”
