Xenarc Technologies Adds a 10.4" and a 15" TFT LCD Monitor with TV Tuner to its Product Line

Accommodating high-end home entertainment needs and mobile video needs, Xenarc Technologies added two new LCD monitors to its product line-up:  a 10.4" model and a 15" model.  The 1040VT, a sunlight readable monitors come at an amazing brightness of 500 NIT.  Both monitors come pre-installed with a built-in TV tuner, making them among the most versatile in the Company's product line.

Heading into a different market, Xenarc Technologies hopes to complement its existing product line of 5" - 7" LCD monitors with these high end, multifunctional monitors.  These monitors come with an S-Video input, AV inputs, and VGA inputs, along with the TV Cable input.  "There are some customers out there who aren't ready for the smaller LCD monitors yet, and that is where these monitors come into play.  With built-in TV tuners, we are saying to those who aren't ready for our core 5" - 7" products that we have products tailored to their needs, and when they are ready to install the smaller units, we are ready for them on that front too," said a company spokesman.

Said Jonathan Ty, a high-end home entertainment engineer, "We've been waiting for Xenarc to come in with a competitively priced 10" to 15" LCD monitor.  With all the bells and whistles and the competitive price, I think this monitor will play a major role in our product line-up and what we offer our customers."  Xenarc Technologies is anticipating delivery of these monitors to begin in mid-April.

Both monitors come with 15 pin D-SUB VGA inputs, an S-Video input, an AV input, and a video output.  The screen on the 10.4" is ultra-bright, using a patented process to increase the brightness, with maximum resolution 800 x 600 (SVGA).  On the other hand, the 15" has a maximum resolution of 1024 x 768 (XVGA).
