Xenarc Technologies Introduces its Touch-Screen 7" TFT LCD Monitor with VGA Input

Following the release of its 700Y/700YV TFT LCD Monitor with VGA input, Xenarc Technologies announced the introduction of these monitors with a 4-wires Resistive Touch-Screen.  These innovative monitors (model #700TS and 700TSV) are designed to meet the needs of customers requiring easy, quick-touch controls, while on the go.

In response to growing consumer demand for Touch-Screen technology, the Company put an emphasis on getting the technology developed and applied to its current products.  Michelle Chang, a developer for Xenarc Technologies' factory in Taiwan, said "We didn't realize the market potential and the demand for Touch-Screen technology in the United States until our sales office in the US started receiving numerous inquiries regarding the technology.  Taking our high-end 7" VGA unit and applying this technology allows us to create a new market in addition to an already growing 7" VGA market."

Xenarc Technologies is planning to mass produce the items in mid-April, and have units available for delivery by the end of April.  Because the units are so popular and so frequently inquired about, the Company has already started taking sample orders on the units.  "Most of our customers are always staying on the cutting edge of technology.  Therefore, they knew after we released the VGA model, that touch-screen would be right around the corner.  The number of inquiries on these touch-screen units has been astounding, and we haven't even begun mass producing them yet," said a company spokesman.

The monitors include a 15 pin D-SUB VGA input, with the 700TSV also including 3 AV inputs.  The screens are 16:9 wide screen, with physical resolution of 800x480.
